Styling Blog

I really enjoyed learning how to style my web page. It was fun to play around with all the fonts and styles. This section of the class will really help me in the future when upkeeping my blog.

Halloween

This past weekend was Halloween. It was a fun weekend overall. Friday night, I worked at the bar and there was an MIT Halloween party, it seemed as though everyone was a vampire. Saturday night, my friend had a party in Brighton, my fiancee and I went over there for a few hours, it was good to see some friends that I havent seen in a while. Sunday night, I hung out on the couch by a fire and gave out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Here is a picture of my friends and me as the three stooges.

Smoked Chicken

Yesterday during the football games, my friends came by and I smoked a chicken in my new grill. I smoked it at 200 degrees for 5 hours. It came out unbelievable. It was so juicy and the skin was nice and crunchy. I cannot wait to smoke some ribs this week.

New Toy

My good friends who are going to be groomsmen in my wedding recently purchased me and my fiancee, well mainly me an engagement gift. This is the grill of all grills, it has a propane grill on the left side and a charcoal/smoker on the right side. This thing is awesome.

Forms

I had a good time creating forms using JotForms. I liked playing around with it to create a unique form. I am enjoying the responses from my classmates. I am happy that they enjoy my site.

Apps

Two apps that I use frequently is the CA Unicenter Service Desk and Igoogle. The CA Unicenter Service Desk, "delivers high-quality, consistent IT service support with CA Service Desk Manager that can automate incident, problem, knowledge management, interactive online support, self-service and advanced root cause analysis"(http://www.ca.com/us/service-desk.aspx) I use this on a daily basis for my job. It is used to track incidents or "tickets" when people call the Help Desk. Also, IGoogle, which includes all of the Google applications is a great thing. I have my little dashboard with all of my favorite apps right there.
